My husband and I purchased a Suzuki Grand Vitara on Friday evening 1/21 (2011) in Salem from Power Suzuki. We requested your email because of the incredible service we were given for this transaction.
Our experience buying our first new car was amazing and very positive, due to the following employees that helped us:
First of all, Jim Coleman was our salesman and a very kind individual, even chatting with us for the entire time while we were waiting for the finance end to be prepared. He stood by his word and price agreement from our phone conversation, was straightforward with pricing, and did not badger us once we arrived.
The sales manager was Paul Richardson and he wanted to make sure that everything was done right on the vehicle and for us to feel to great, making sure that we schedule to come in for a nice detail and to fix the sunroof plastic part that we noticed while inspecting the vehicle (since the service center was closed on Friday evening). He even offered to cover our gas and to make sure we had transportation while we were waiting for the detail.
Our finance person was Mario Batres. He explained everything with ease and helpfulness, and a smile.
We just had a wonderful time and would recommend your business to anyone in a heartbeat. Jim gave us some cards and we will send anyone who asks about cars in his direction. When we need our next automobile, if we are living in Oregon, we will come to you guys first.
Even though we arrived in the late evening, I never felt these gentlemen were looking at their watches or tapping their feet, they had tremendous patience and above that, hospitality.
In experience with other dealerships, this was the most pleasant and least stressful situation for us, which is how it should be with the excitement and anxiety of buying a brand new car! What an excellent way to conduct business.
